Our Nuclear business has a great opportunity for a management accountant to support the sector by preparing monthly management accounts, supporting project reviews, and providing financial analysis and advice.
Your Purpose
* The Assistant Finance Business Partner (AFBP) will support the Nuclear finance team and all market finance business partners in various financial tasks.
* Review project forecasts and liaise with project managers to understand financial performance.
* Assist in preparing operational budgets and quarterly forecasts.
* Manage cash-flow, monitor performance, and support billing and debt collection discussions.
* Coordinate with group functions on tax, treasury, commercial, cosec, and accounting issues.
* Contribute to accounting for Joint Ventures and manage related cash processes and project bank accounts.
* Perform ad hoc tasks and support FBPs and the finance director.
* Handle periodic financial reporting and internal process returns.
* Participate in financial improvement initiatives and transformational changes.
What You Can Bring

* Strong Excel skills; Power BI experience is a plus.

* Strong planning and problem-solving skills, with analytical ability.
* Knowledge of Oracle EBS, Power BI, Hyperion HFM, PBCS is advantageous.
* Experience in an accounting function, especially in engineering consultancy, is a plus.
This role is suitable for recent graduates with a relevant accounting degree or individuals with good A levels interested in pursuing an accountancy career, with a study package provided.
