The Adult Community Health Care Teams (ACHT) across Buckinghamshire are delighted to announce the vacancy for Referral Access Administrators, to cover the hours of 4.30pm to 9pm.
The post will provide administrative and clerical support to the integrated care teams referral access point. This requires accurate registration of referrals and allocation to locality-based teams following clinical triage. Maintenance of confidentiality in respect of all patients and staff information from all sources.
Main duties of the job
The team provides a 7-day service and therefore the successful applicant will be required to work some weekends and bank holidays.

Skills, Abilities & Knowledge
Essential criteria
10. Confidentiality
11. Excellent communication skils when dealing with professionals and the public
12. Able to act on verbal and written Instructions
13. Able to produce work to a consistently high standard

Experience
Essential criteria
18. Experience of working in an office environment either in paid or voluntary capacity.
19. Experience of dealing with public on the telephone.
20. Experience participating in a research or audit project
21. Experience of day to day staff management e.g. case allocation to Health Care Assistant
Educational, Qualifications & Training
Essential criteria
22. English Language GCSE or equivalent at C grade or above.
23. Willingness to undertake professional development training as required (this will be funded by the Trust)
Desirable criteria
24. ECDL
25. Moderate knowledge of word, excel and data base skills.
