Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Travelling countywide to conduct thorough inspections of highway developments
2. Ensuring developments comply with specified standards and regulations
3. Performing detailed physical inspections to monitor and report on construction progress
4. Applying the Highway Acts s278/38 during project evaluations
5. Communicating effectively with stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met
6. Documenting and reporting findings to support continuous improvement and compliance
Job Requirements:
7. Experience in highway inspections and compliance
8. Understanding of the Highway Acts s278/38
9. Ability to perform detailed physical inspections
10. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
11. Excellent communication skills for liaising with various project stakeholders
12. Full time availability and willingness to travel throughout the area of work.
Contract Details:
13. Initial contract period of 3 months, with potential for extension
14. Full-time position with 37.5 hours per week
