Salary: £13.60 hourly

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Carer with experience in end‑of‑life care to join our committed team. This rewarding role supports residents with life‑limiting conditions, ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality care in their final days.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality, person‑centred palliative and end‑of‑life care.
* Support residents with personal care and emotional reassurance.
* Supervise and mentor care staff to maintain best practice.
* Liaise with families, GPs, nurses, and palliative care professionals.
* Monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond promptly to changes.
* Uphold dignity, respect, and sensitivity at all times.
Qualifications
* NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
* Prior experience in a senior carer or end‑of‑life/palliative care role.
* Compassionate, calm, and emotionally resilient nature.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Genuine commitment to person‑centred care.
Desirable (but Not Essential)
* End‑of‑life care training (e.g., Gold Standards Framework, Six Steps).
* Experience supporting families through bereavement.
* Knowledge of Advance Care Planning and DNACPR processes.
