We are seeking an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to run a Nakamura JX-200 multitasking turn-mill centre on a late shift.
This role is suited to someone with strong experience in multi-axis turning centres who is comfortable setting, troubleshooting and running complex components in a precision engineering environment.
Responsibilities
*
Setting and operating a Nakamura JX-200 multitasking turn-mill machine
*
Setting tool offsets and wear offsets
*
Proving out jobs and optimising cycle times
*
Troubleshooting machining or program issues
*
Monitoring tool wear and maintaining machining quality
*
Running production parts to tight tolerances
*
Working from engineering drawings
Candidate Requirements
*
Experience setting and operating multitasking CNC lathes
*
Strong turning background with mill-turn / multi-axis machines
*
Ability to set tools, offsets and run jobs independently
*
Experience with Fanuc-type controls (or similar)
*
Ability to troubleshoot machining issues
Highly Desirable
Experience with machines such as:

Mazak Integrex i-200
*
DMG Mori NTX
*
Experienced mill-turn / multitasking lathe engineers, or
*
Skilled CNC turners who want to develop into advanced multi-axis machining
