We are looking for a passionate and experienced digital designer to join our growing Design Team. The role will support client content marketing campaigns including data visualisation work, infographic creation, dashboard interfaces plus various in-house marketing efforts. We want someone who isn’t afraid to try new ways of working, can work collaboratively across campaigns of various sizes and bring flair to their work.
This role is varied and highly creative. The majority of projects require the creation of a bespoke visual style to best communicate the particular story to its audience. The deliverables are a combination of flat graphics and, for larger projects, wireframes and designs for use in developing interactive html5 web applications. The designer’s first responsibility is to create compelling, engaging content – not to compromise aesthetic with ad placement or conversion tactics. Our task is to convince a human audience that we’ve created something valuable.
Because this role is largely content marketing focussed, that means lots of quick‑fire, creatively free, varied, design work.
Required Skills
* Strong creative design ability
* Good knowledge of UI/UX concepts and techniques
* Data visualisation understanding
* Proficiency in Adobe CC, especially XD, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
* Effective team collaboration
* Ability to pay close attention to detail
Beneficial Skills
* At least 2 years’ experience working in a design studio, in‑house team or digital agency
* Basic knowledge of search marketing & digital PR
* Experience in print design
* Knowledge of motion graphics in Adobe After Effects
