Job Description: We are currently looking to recruit a Hose Technician to join us on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Divisional Director, and working closely with the existing Hose Doctor Engineers, you will be providing 24 x 7, onsite hose replacement and technical support for a wide customer base. More details regarding working hours can be discussed upon enquiry. Hydraulic experience not required, someone from a mechanical background would be suitable. Responsibilities: * To provide a 24/7 on site, mobile hose replacement service responding within the hour to referred jobs in the Midlands area. Target is 100% on time. * To provide 24hr call out coverage as per rota. Average one week in four on call. * To canvas new and prospective customers for business. Engineer is set targets, above which, commission is payable. * To assist in the Derby workshop as and when deemed necessary. * To ensure van and equipment is maintained in a smart, functional, roadworthy condition and that uniform is worn at all times and kept as clean as practicable. * To control and maintain stock of all necessary products in the van.
