About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to gain hands- on classroom experience across Reception to Year 6. The successful candidate will lead classes of up to 30 pupils, supported by a team of Teaching Assistants, and will be provided with weekly PPA ( Planning, Preparation & Assessment) time. The role involves covering a range of year groups depending on the school’s needs, so flexibility and the ability to quickly build rapport with pupils is essential. You’ll be part of a nurturing school community committed to pupil development and teacher growth. Key Responsibilities Delivering engaging and age- appropriate lessons across Reception to Year 6 Creating and adapting lesson plans tailored to individual learning needs Collaborating with teaching assistants to support classroom learning Managing pupil behaviour in line with individual behaviour plans Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment What We’re Looking For ✅ Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS) obtained in the UK ✅ Recent teaching placement experience with strong references ✅ Excellent classroom management and communication skills ✅ Flexible, proactive, and passionate about education ✅ Registered with the Education Workforce Council ( EWC) or willing to apply ✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service ( or willingness to obtain one – we can help!)
