My client is a well known boutique firm based in Edinburgh. Due to continued growth the Partners are looking for an enthusiastic Real Estate Solicitor to join their highly regarded Real Estate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with at least one year of post-qualification experience looking to take the next step in their career. NQ solicitors with solid real estate experience gained from their traineeship are also invited to apply.
About the Role
You will work closely with experienced Partners and colleagues across the team on a broad range of commercial property transactions, including:
1. Acquisitions and disposals of commercial properties.
2. Leasing work acting for both landlords and tenants.
3. Property finance transactions, advising both borrowers and lenders.
4. There is also the opportunity to become involved with and gain exposure to Energy and Renewables work.
You'll have the opportunity to manage your own files (with supervision and support where appropriate), build strong client relationships, and gain exposure to high-quality, diverse work across the commercial property sector.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
5. Has solid experience in commercial real estate gained during their traineeship or post-qualification - up to 2 years PQE.
6. Is commercially aware, proactive, and has excellent attention to detail.
7. Demonstrates strong communication and relationship-building skills.
8. Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.
