This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Workforce Development and Training team, providing specialist business and admin support, working alongside a friendly team and operational colleagues helping to make sure that all employees across Highways and Streetscene are fully trained.
You will be part of a small team who are responsible for making sure that employees receive all the training they need for their job and to remain safe.
You will work with employees and managers across Highways, Cleansing, Parks, Forestry, Transport and Parking making sure training is arranged to meet health and safety needs and training records are kept.
The work is varied using different systems and communication with a wide range of people. You need to be organised and diligent and willing to learn.
Business administration skills to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and knowledge of IT packages is essential. The role requires use of excel spreadsheets, sharepoint and data entry into specialist systems as well as the ability to produce complex and specialist documentation.
