We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Part-Time Music Teacher to join a vibrant Catholic Secondary School in Lambeth for a permanent position. About the Role: You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging music lessons to students across a range of year groups, likely on a pre-determined timetable. This includes: Planning and delivering a stimulating curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum for Music. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of music in all students. Contributing to the development of the school's music program, potentially including individual or group instrumental/vocal tuition. Collaborating with the wider music department to ensure a cohesive learning experience for students. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music is essential. A strong track record of delivering high-quality music education, potentially with experience in a part-time teaching role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students of all ages and backgrounds. The ability to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment, even within a part-time schedule. A passion for music and the desire to inspire a love of music in others.
