Chef de Partie (Dagenham East)
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Chef de Partie to join our amazing Food team.
As a Chef de Partie, your role is pivotal in ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly from assisting with innovative menu planning, meal preparation, and great customer service. Working within The Lab Café situated on the Londoneast-UK business and technical park you will provide essential support to the Chef Manager and contribute to the overall culinary experience, bringing ideas and innovation to create and deliver great tasting and healthy food.
Duties include assisting the Chef Manager with:
1. Developing and testing new dishes by working closely with the executive chef to experiment with new ingredients and cooking techniques to create innovative and appealing dishes that can be added to the menu.
2. Preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring consistency and high standards in taste and presentation.
3. Overseeing the portioning and plating of dishes to ensure consistency in presentation and adherence to the restaurant's standards, creating visually appealing plates that enhance the dining experience.
4. Preparation and delivery of food orders by coordinating kitchen operations, managing workflow, and monitoring the progress of various kitchen stations to meet service standards and minimise delays.
