Job Description: CCAT Manager at IMG
Here at IMG, we are pleased to announce that we are looking for a CCAT Manager to work remotely or in a hybrid setting, 37.5 hours a week, including some on-call hours, with a competitive salary of £54,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience).
The Critical Care & Transportation (CCAT) Manager is responsible for all aspects of medical and non-medical related repatriations and evacuations, ensuring cases that meet critical criteria are dealt with appropriately. The CCAT Manager will liaise with other departments and the Medical Team, report to the Operations Manager, and serve as the main point of contact for complex medevac and critical cases, managing workload distribution fairly.

Daily Responsibilities:
1. Oversee coordination of all patient transportation cases.
2. Serve as the main contact for ICU admissions in low-risk countries and all admissions in high-risk countries.
3. Share responsibility with the Operations Manager for overseeing large loss processes, including transport and ICU admissions.
4. Act as the primary contact for clients regarding large losses and complex patient hospital admissions.
5. Coordinate with the Medical Team for patient transportation logistics.
6. Ensure optimal staffing levels and address team issues and sickness.
7. Manage reporting, SLAs, and team KPIs.
8. Assist the Global Provider Network team in identifying new providers to meet client needs.
9. Oversee all evacuation, repatriation, and critical care cases, prioritizing actions based on medical and client needs.
10. Handle all medevac cases, including evacuations from hospitals, injury sites, or high-risk countries, and search and rescue operations.
11. Respond promptly to critical issues, escalating cases as appropriate.
12. Focus on cost containment.
13. Coordinate air ambulance evacuations from request to patient drop-off.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Minimum 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
* Strong work ethic, initiative, and ability to work independently or in a team.
* Attention to detail, good listening skills, and ability to follow complex instructions.
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, both written and spoken.
* Enthusiastic, self-motivated, with a 'can do' attitude.
* Experience in insurance or compliance environments is advantageous.
* Fluent in English; additional language skills in German, French, or Italian are a plus (not essential).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong customer service skills for telephony and written communication.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Adaptability to team needs.
