About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to support a masters student at the University of Liverpool as she completes her degree. On shift, youll provide assistance with daily tasks including minimal personal care, cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, helping her put on shoes and a coat, and providing general support to help her live independently and get the most from university life. Our client also lives with a flatmate, so it is essential that you can respect boundaries when in a working environment.
This job has lots of down-time and so would suit someone able to occupy themselves whilst she is out with friends or at University. Many of my previous PAs have complete online qualifications and training or even studied for their degree whilst working. On occasion, you may also accompany her on trips away, when she is out and about around town, or to hospital appointments both in Liverpool and London.
About the Client
Shes independent, social, and driven. Studying for her masters at the University of Liverpool, she balances academic life with an active social schedule. Living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a purely physical disability, she can easily explain what she needs help with and when. This also means that no previous care experience is necessary. She works part-time in a work from home role so you would need to be available at all times whilst on shift.
Shes looking for a reliable, easy-going and upbeat PA whos friendly, supportive, and proactive. If you enjoy good conversation, staying busy, and helping someone achieve their goals, this could be a great fit.
