Role responsibilities
* Support the development and operation of our cloud environment through tools, environments, and practices, including managing tools, testing environments, code control, and automation.
* Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using IaaS and PaaS resources via Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to deliver a secure and scalable platform.
* Utilize Azure DevOps pipelines, adhering to CI/CD principles, to ensure repeatable, secure, and highly available deployments.
* Provide guidance and support to service delivery teams by troubleshooting complex issues.
* Design and develop process flows using low-code technologies to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
Who we’re looking for
Technical expertise: Knowledge of Microsoft cloud and DevOps technologies, including Azure PaaS (e.g., Azure Front Door, API Management, App Services), Azure IaaS (e.g., Virtual Machines, Containers), and Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans).
DevOps practices: Understanding of build and release management, code repositories, and version control systems.
Stakeholder management: Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
Learning and development: Passion for learning best practices in Cloud Engineering.
Welsh Language Skills
Ability to speak/write Welsh is a plus but not essential. We support and encourage Welsh language development through various training options.
