As part of this role, you will:
* Lead pre-construction and construction activities, including grid applications, engineering coordination, contract procurement and administration, and planning compliance.
* Support the resolution of project challenges, ensuring smooth delivery and adherence to technical, HSE, and quality standards.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, including regulators, local communities, and contractors.
* Gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, enhancing your expertise in both development and operational phases.
Key Skills & Experience
* Degree-level qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Planning, or equivalent.
* 8+ years experience in the renewable energy sector.
* Track record managing projects across the lifecycle of wind, solar PV, battery storage, or similar infrastructure projects.
* Experience with contract negotiation, administration, and performance management.
* Knowledge of grid connection processes and working with utility operators.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, including regulators and community engagement.
* Familiarity with project financial management, energy markets, and emerging technologies.
* Proficiency in technical software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, PVSyst) preferred.
* Strong understanding of UK consenting processes, HSE legislation, and quality assurance standards.
