Location: Port of Nigg – Inverness, UK Day rate: Negotiable based on experience Contract Type: 12-month rolling (potential to extend until Dec 2028) Hours: 38 hours/week | Mon–Fri | Day Shift Start Date: November 2025 IR35: Inside IR35 Remote Work: No – Site-based role About the Role: We are working on behalf of a global energy leader to recruit an experienced Facility Manager for their Port of Nigg operations. This is a key site-based role managing the infrastructure of a busy marshalling harbor supporting the renewables sector. You’ll be the driving force behind facility safety, compliance, and efficiency leading multiple subcontractors and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and facility improvements * Lead subcontractor management for waste, utilities, scaffolding, and security * Ensure full compliance with HSE and regulatory standards * Plan and manage temporary works (e.g. scaffolding), including inspections and safety * Monitor and report on facility budgets and expenditure * Drive sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives * Coordinate inspections and maintain detailed records * Support office layout, infrastructure planning, and space optimization Requirements: * Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Admin, or related field * Proven track record in facilities management, ideally in industrial or energy sectors * Accredited Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) training is essential * Strong knowledge of safety, compliance, and contractor management * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Why Apply? * Long-term project with potential extension until 2028 * Work with a major player in the renewables industry * Competitive pay based on experience * Stable, site-based role with no travel required
