About Broxburn Academy
Broxburn Academy is a thriving and caring learning community serving the families of Broxburn, Uphall, Uphall Station, Pumpherston, and Dechmont.
We work closely with our affiliated cluster primaries, including Broxburn PS, Kirkhill PS, Uphall PS, Pumpherston and Uphall Station Community PS, and also receive out-of-catchment requests.
Our current school roll is 819 students.

A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland are essential.
This role is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before starting employment. The candidate will bear the cost, which is £59 for a new full membership or £18 for existing members.
