Are you an Accounts Semi Senior with aspirations of advancing your career within one of Stoke-on-Trent’s most prominent firms of accountants? If so, this could be the ideal role for you.
Accountancy practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading and forward-thinking firm in Stoke-on-Trent, as they look to add an ambitious Accounts Semi Senior to their growing team.
The successful candidate will undertake a varied general practice role, preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships, as well as associated tax compliance. You will also complete bookkeeping work for clients and prepare VAT returns.
The ideal candidate will have a grounding in general practice work and may be AAT qualified (or nearly qualified) or have already begun studying towards the ACCA or ACA qualification.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of draft accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
2. Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations
3. Bookkeeping work for clients
4. Preparation of periodic VAT returns
5. Liaising with clients to resolve queries where necessary
Skills:
1. AAT Part Qualified / Qualified or ACCA Students
2. Practice experience is essential
