Overview
We\'re looking for multiple Manufacturing Engineers (Tooling) to support a key project in Reading. This role focuses on ensuring the design, procurement, and operation of process tooling and equipment is safe, cost-effective, and fully aligned with project requirements.
Responsibilities
* Tooling Design: Create tooling and equipment designs using Siemens NX software.
* Solution Development: Present design solutions at interim and final design reviews.
* Technical Documentation: Produce or manage technical product specifications, including drawings, process flows, and manufacturing instructions.
* Modification Management: Oversee modifications to existing tooling and equipment when required.
* Design History: Maintain Design History Files using Siemens Teamcenter.
* Procurement Support: Assist in sourcing tooling and equipment to meet project needs.
* Requirements Management: Capture and manage requirements to align with customer expectations.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Optioneering: Generate and analyse solution concepts, conducting selection processes.
* Testing & Trials: Plan, coordinate, and execute physical experiments and trials.
* Virtual Analysis: Use Engineering Virtual Reality for solution assessment.
* Mentorship: Guide and mentor other engineers, supporting technical decision-making.
* Quality Assurance: Act as a peer reviewer for the design team to maintain technical quality standards.
* EHSQ Responsibilities: Uphold Environmental, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality standards across all activities.
Candidate Profile
We\'re looking for individuals with:
* Strong IT skills, including standard office software, Siemens NX, and Teamcenter.
* A proven track record in delivering technical solutions and driving continuous improvement.
* Experience in nuclear or similarly regulated safety environments.
* Knowledge of nuclear safety principles (DSA03-DNSR).
* A STEM degree or equivalent technical experience.
* Familiarity with FMEA, SPC, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect and IBM DOORS.
* Basic knowledge of P6 planning software (desirable).
* Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

Security Requirements
This role requires DV clearance with no caveats and the successful applicant must be a sole UK national due to the nature of the work and security restrictions.
