Overview
Outdoor Education Apprentice (£24,225 FTE). Actual pay £21,998 per annum (37 hours per week) for term-time only plus 2 summer weeks (41 weeks plus 6.2 weeks' holiday).
This role will primarily be based at Bohunt School Wokingham, with an additional commitment of approximately one day per week at The Costello School in Basingstoke and Bohunt School Farnborough.

Responsibilities
* Work with the Director of Outdoor Education to run safe, enjoyable and enriching Outdoor Learning sessions for students across the Bohunt Education Trust.
* Teach and facilitate a variety of skill sessions including bushcraft/primitive skills, paddling, hiking, character/leadership development, and climbing.
* You will have the opportunity to work with the Duke of Edinburgh programme.
* Achieve your Level 3 qualification as an Outdoor Activity instructor; opportunities to gain additional National Governing Body qualifications listed below.
Qualifications & Qualifications Pathway
* Demonstrated love of exploring the outdoors with excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Commitment to completing the Level 3 Outdoor Activity Instructor qualification.
* Experience in leading groups of students is desirable but not essential.
* Potential additional qualifications include:
o Level 3 Outdoor First Aid
o British Canoeing Paddlesport Safety & Rescue
o British Canoeing Paddlesport Instructor
o Mountain Training Lowland Leader
o Mountain Training Climbing Wall Instructor
o Bushcraft Personal Skills
o Archery GB Instructor
About the Role & Programme
