Payroll Analyst (Level 3) Location: Restaurant Support Centre (RSC), Woking (approx. 25 minutes by train from London Waterloo) Working Style: Hybrid – minimum one day per week in the office (Thursdays), with occasional additional days for team or market meetings. Job Description The Payroll Analyst plays a critical role in supporting employee expense management across our European markets. You’ll work with a variety of systems and stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate processing and financial reporting. This is a pivotal role during a transition period, and we’re looking for someone confident, analytical, and ready to hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities Manage employee expenses across multiple platforms, including Oracle, region-specific systems, and company travel tools. Reconcile expense reports and ensure accurate coding across multiple European markets, aligning costs with appropriate G&A account codes. Apply strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies, interpret financial data, and ensure compliance with reporting standards. Play a key role during a critical transition period, demonstrating a self-starter mentality and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, departments, expense providers, and finance teams. Support the monthly close process, including preparing and posting journals and performing reconciliations for assigned accounts. Assist with internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and demonstrating strong system knowledge. Ensure ongoing compliance with internal control policies, guidelines, and company procedures. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, payroll, or finance-related roles Hands-on experience with multiple expense systems; Oracle experience preferred Familiarity with general ledger structures and journal entries, particularly in relation to G&A Proven analytical and reconciliation skills with attention to detail Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable interpreting data in other languages, especially across European markets Self-motivated with a proactive, flexible approach and the ability to work autonomously Why Yum!
