We are working with a specialist primary school in the Stockport area to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant. Full-time basis and immediate start date. There is no option for part time roles. This role is focused on those with additional needs. Working cohesively with fellow staff, parents and students, you will be supporting the education of primary aged students with complex requirements including autism, communication and medical needs. We are looking for individuals who have: Experience in supporting young people in a school or care environment within the UK Availability to work 08:30-15:30, Monday-Friday It would also be beneficial for applicants to have: Confidence in supporting instances of challenging behaviour Experience of working with SEN, including complex autism and communication issues. A positive and proactive attitude.
