My client is a leading organisation in the space sector, known for delivering cutting-edge mission technology and supporting high-profile international space programmes. As they continue to expand their UK engineering presence, they are seeking a Commercial Manager to join their team.
The Role:
+Advise and provide commercial strategy guidance to key stakeholders
+Lead commercial and contractual negotiations for a UK-based operation
+Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
+Manage commercial aspects of proposals and projects to ensure on-time delivery, budget control, and quality standards
Key Skills and Experience:
+Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field
+5+ years’ experience in commercial, business development, or contract management roles, ideally within aerospace, defence, telecommunications, or other high-technology industries
+Experience working with government and institutional customers and commercial operators
+Proven experience negotiating contracts and commercial agreements within the defence or space sector
