Overview
Are you a passionate Catering Supervisor or a Kitchen Assistant looking for a progression opportunity? This role is for you and you would join our fantastic team based in schools across Cheshire West and Chester / Wirral / Halton / Flintshire.
If successful, you will be supporting the Catering operations in running the service at Schools across Wirral, Cheshire and Halton. You’ll be representing both Edsential and our school to ensure that all pupils have the best quality food and customer experience.

Responsibilities
* Leading and supervising the kitchen staff in the duties below:
* Preparing and presenting food to a high standard of hygiene and safe practice
* Completion of all kitchen administration
* Safeguarding is the highest priority; applicants will be subject to stringent vetting and induction processes. The successful applicant will be subject to relevant checks and enhanced DBS
* The ability to empower and lead a team
* Ability to build relationships and promote a positive work environment
* Lead by example attitude
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work well under pressure in a busy customer facing role
Qualifications
* Previous experience of running a school kitchen would be advantageous
