Facilities Operative

Salary up to £26,298.72 per annum
Full time – Permanent, 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday
We provide services to the University of Cambridge, maintaining and repairing their Key Worker Housing located in Eddington and properties across Cambridge. We look after over 1000 properties across Cambridge
About the Role:
We are looking for a Facilities Operative to join our team. Full training will be provided; however, you will be responsible for the following:
* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
* Demonstrating a concern for personal safety and the safety of others
* Reading, understanding and complying with the SHE Policy and Procedures
* Reporting and recording any personal injuries or occupational health concerns, and informing your line manager
* Planning and organising duties to ensure client satisfaction, compliance with the service specification, and adhere to industry best practices
* Providing support for other team members and managers
* Having a working knowledge of the operational services specification
* Following correct procedures in the event of an emergency i.e. fire, flood, accident or damage
Role Criteria:
* Ability to work alone and as part of the team
* Good written and verbal communication
