Head of HR & Culture (£65,000 - £70,000, Remote)
Are you a seasoned HR leader with a passion for purpose-driven work? We're seeking a Head of HR & Culture to join our client’s not-for-profit organisation, dedicated to a truly superb cause. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact, shaping the people strategy and fostering a thriving culture.
This is a true generalist HR leadership role where you'll lead a small, dedicated HR team and partner closely with our Directors. While the role is fully remote, very occasional travel (London) will be required for key meetings and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our organisational goals and values, ensuring our people agenda supports our mission.
* Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a small HR team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
* Cultural Transformation: Design and deliver initiatives to cultivate a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture, driving engagement and reinforcing our core values.
* Employment Law & Compliance: Provide expert guidance on all employment law matters, ensuring compliance and managing complex employee relations cases, including organisational change and transformation projects.
* Partnering with Directors: Act as a trusted advisor to our Directors, providing strategic HR insights and solutions to support decision-making and achieve organisational objectives.
* Generalist HR Oversight: Oversee all aspects of the HR lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent development, reward, and employee wellbeing.
* Policy & Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine HR policies, procedures, and systems to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and best practice.
What you'll bring:
* Extensive Generalist HR Experience: You'll have a comprehensive understanding of all HR disciplines, from talent acquisition and development to compensation and employee relations.
* Senior HR Leadership Experience: A track record as a Head of HR/Director across multiple 3rd sector organisations
* Strong Employment Law Expertise: Your in-depth knowledge of employment law, particularly in the context of organisational transformation, will be crucial.
* Cultural Development & Transformation: A key priority for this role will be driving cultural development and leading a positive cultural shift within our organisation.
* Charity/Third Sector Experience: You must have demonstrable senior HR leadership experience within a charity or third-sector organisation.
* Resilience, Robustness & Positivity: We're looking for someone who is resilient, robust, and maintains a positive outlook, even when facing challenges.
