Job Summary
The construction project engineer will report to the Construction Manager and liaise closely with the site-based project manager and Construction Manager and have responsibility for securing and coordinating the construction packages assigned to them.
Roles & Responsibilities
•
Assisting the project manager and construction manager with all aspects of project works, including close liaison with the site-based construction manager.
•
Monitoring progress against programme, plans and specifications to keep projects on track and meet deadlines.
•
Be able to organise day to day activities with the construction manager as well as be able to work as part of a team to get projects over the line.
•
Assist the commercial team with the assessment, negotiation and agreement of sub-contractors (variations, time, cost & quality).
•
Attend Progress meetings and communicate with sub-contractors and suppliers on a regular basis,
•
Attending site to gain an understanding of coordinating subcontractors as needed for the demands of the project, including overnight stays where necessary.

Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries for review of the project lead and construction manager.
