The Role
As the NEC Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of infrastructure works concerning the repair and maintenance of basin walls critical to the safe storage of long-term berthing submarines. Your daily responsibilities will include contract management, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and ensuring the project’s performance aligns with safety and quality standards. You will coordinate closely with the client project controls team and liaise with a variety of stakeholders, including military and engineering teams, to ensure smooth progress and successful project completion.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Proven experience in engineering design and construction in regulated environments
NEC4 ECC Accredited Project Manager
Valid SMSTS and CSCS certifications
Previous leadership of large-scale projects from business case through to handover
Practical knowledge of change control, assurance, and risk management procedures
An HND or higher in an engineering, construction, or project management disciplineDesirable qualifications include APM Registered Project Professional, a related degree, or Chartered status in a relevant discipline, as well as experience with CEMAR systems.
Due to the nature of the project candidate will need to be sole British Nationals.
