You’ve delivered on high-end London projects and you’re ready for more: deeper responsibility, hands-on delivery, and the satisfaction of seeing complex work through on-site.
Here’s why this role is different…
Join a medium-sized, multiple award-winning Central London studio with the perfect balance: big enough to deliver £20m-£300m city-centre projects, focused enough that every architect takes visible ownership. This is a confidential appointment on a career-defining prime scheme now on-site.
You’ll be hands-on, trusted, and close to decisions that matter.
The immediate project (confidential):
* Prime London landmark: a historically significant building undergoing a contemporary transformation - complex fabric interfaces, conservation control, and exacting standards from a world-class end user.
* Architecture × interiors: gallery-grade environments, refined workplace, and luxury accommodation demanding spatial clarity, environmental performance, and high-end finishes.
* Delivery in the spotlight: RIBA Stage 4-5 with fast decisions, live site coordination and high accountability. Expect mock-ups, samples and prototyping (stone, metals, timber, lighting) with specialist trades.
* Technical depth: stringent acoustic, lighting, security and climate requirements; intricate MEP integration; heritage constraints; complex fire and access strategies through existing fabric.
* Stakeholder intensity: daily coordination with tier-one consultants, contractor teams and client reps - quality, programme and change control managed with precision.
* Portfolio impact: work you can point to - ownership, a built project, and resolved architecture that stands up to close scrutiny.
What you’ll do:
* Take ownership of key Revit packages at RIBA Stage 4/5, coordinating architecture, structure and MEP
* Coordinate day-to-day with the consultant/contractor teams and resolve issues with pace and accountability.
* Produce robust technical information, details and schedules that stand up on site and through QA.
* Drive design quality at the intersection of architecture and interiors - spatial resolution, joinery and material interfaces that elevate the whole scheme.
* Balance heritage and fabric constraints with contemporary performance, buildability and programme.
You’ll thrive if you have:
* Strong prime London experience on high-end, design-led projects (mixed-use, cultural, hospitality or luxury residential).
* Proven Revit experience (essential) and confidence delivering at RIBA Stage 5.
* An eye for craft and materiality - the intersection between architecture and interiors.
* Autonomy and ownership: proactive coordination, clear reporting, and calm communication skills.
Why this studio?
* A melting pot of leading architects from top-tier practices, blending concept pedigree with proven delivery.
* A portfolio rich in high-end and complex city-centre work, with additional confidential prime/luxury projects in the pipeline.
* Potential diversification to cultural and international projects.
* Leadership that expects high standards and gives real responsibility - your work will be seen, not hidden.
Your next chapter includes:
* Competitive salary + discretionary bonus.
* Hybrid working with healthy, grown-up expectations.
* Clear progression: ownership of packages today; route to lead responsibilities tomorrow.
* An exclusive opportunity via Grõ Careers - handled with full discretion.
Key Requirements:
* ARB registered (or equivalent) with full rights to work in the UK.
* Immediate to short-notice availability preferred (but not essential).
* Revit proficiency, with live project experience (portfolio required).
* Prime/High-end London-based project experience (£10-£100+ million) across RIBA Stage 4 & 5.
