About the role:
We are looking for a Build Systems Assembly Technician to join our team on a 12 month contract.
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
* Responsible for building & servicing of safety-critical car assemblies and systems ensuring that all of the procedures and quality checks are followed.
* Key assemblies include Uprights & Carbon Suspension, Driver controls, Hydraulic Ride Systems, Cooling Systems, Hydraulic & Fuel manifolds, Steering, Gearbox Sub-Assemblies.
* Carry out other similar skilled duties.
* Ensuring builds are to latest specification.
* Use SAP to create build sheets and ensure assembled components have enough available mileage to complete the planned event.
* Manage, in conjunction with other team members, spares, lifting and servicing of car parts.
* Assist with Non F1 customer projects.
* Responsible for keeping a clean and tidy working environment in all areas within Mercedes GP Operations Centre.
Candidate profile:
* Experience in F1 or similar industry.
* Good knowledge of quality systems.
* Strong computer skills.
* SAP experience
