Pentabus is the nation’s rural theatre, based in Shropshire. We are the only rural touring company that is committed to producing new work and tours to communities across the UK and beyond. Our work brings communities and young people together, bringing outstanding contemporary productions with sector leading creative teams, directly to isolated rural communities, as well as platforming rural stories in urban settings.
Pentabus is looking to appoint a part time Engagement Lead who has previous experience in community engagement and is passionate about the arts and the work we create as a company.
The Engagement Lead plays a pivotal role within the communities we work in, deepening connections with participants and audiences while devising and implementing strategies to attract new ones. This position focuses on creating and leading innovative engagement projects and activities that ensure the company’s artistic endeavours are accessible and relevant. Additionally, the role ensures the excellent continuation of our Young Company, Youth Theatre and educational outreach programs, fostering a robust, inclusive, and joyous relationship with new writing and theatre.
