The Role (12 months maternity cover)
The eCommerce Marketplace Manager will oversee daily management of Amazon and other marketplaces, collaborating on strategic e-Commerce initiatives with the Senior International/EU eCommerce Manager and the MD/VP UK, China & International. The focus will be on driving sales of existing products and launching new ones online. The role involves participating in the EU Amazon working group, sharing knowledge, and consulting with the US team on reporting and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement the marketplace strategy for the UK, working with the Senior International/EU eCommerce Manager and VP/MD UK, China & International.
* Manage daily operations and development of third-party online channels, especially Amazon 1P and 3P.
* Optimize Amazon advertising campaigns to maximize performance and ROI.
* Create and optimize product listings to increase views and sales.
* Develop and manage review generation programs.
* Coordinate with Global Amazon Marketing team for asset creation, A+ content, and brand page updates.
* Conduct market research on competitors to identify growth opportunities.
* Prepare weekly sales reports and analyze product performance trends.
* Identify reasons for product sales fluctuations and develop strategies to address them.
* Develop strategies to increase sales, reduce costs, and improve conversion rates, including pricing, PPC, packaging, coupons, customer communication, and product lifecycle management.
* Partner with internal teams for go-to-market strategies and product launches.
* Coordinate with supply chain to ensure product availability, quality, and compliance with certifications.
Experience:
* At least 4 years of experience managing Amazon platforms (both 1P and 3P preferred).
* Experience with other platforms like eBay and OnBuy.
* Budgeting and forecasting skills.
* Stock control management.
