With a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience in a front-line safeguarding role, you are skilled in handling complex cases and deeply understand the legal and social frameworks applicable to child welfare. What the Job Involves This role requires you to complete assessments of children and their families where safeguarding concerns arise. You'll support children who are subject to Child Protection and Child in Need Plans, compiling thorough assessments and reports for both private and public law proceedings. You will manage cases from referral to closure, including participation in Care Proceedings when necessary, with continuity of care being a priority. The position is based in Grantham and covers the entire South Kesteven District. Work is organized into a four-week duty cycle, where your duties will involve working from the office during on-duty weeks to handle new case allocations and initial visits.
