Overview
About the role: Our team of Sales Assistants are at the front of the business, connecting with our customers, showcasing our wonderful products and spreading joy one bath bomb at a time. We're a team that works hard, looks after each other and enjoys what we do. You could be one of us!
We are looking for people who:
* Are available at least 2 days per week.
* Have a passion for Lush products and ethical living.
* Are open-minded, enthusiastic and relish a challenge.
* Confident speaking to new people and great at quickly building rapport with strangers.
* Passionate about delivering 5* customer service to everyone who enters the store.
* Are self-motivated, adaptable and able to keep up with a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communicator and comfortable working collaboratively.
* Be willing to learn and eager to develop yourself and your team while meeting business goals.
* Available to work over the peak Christmas period, including either Christmas Eve or Boxing Day
Key Information
Hours available: 4, 8 or 12 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
* Providing 5-star customer experience consistently, going above and beyond for our customers to be a day maker
* You will be a Lush Ambassador, championing our ethics and values during consultations
* Engage with customers through active listening to understand and establish their needs, recommend products, and provide relevant information and demonstrations.
* Providing sit-down consultations and bespoke routines to fulfil the customers' needs, including hand and arm massages, on-face demos, scalp massages, henna applications and more.
* Hosting product-making workshops and in-store parties.
* Stocking products on the shop floor, ensuring our products are clean and inviting to customers
* Operating our till systems - you will be cash-handling trained.
* Being adaptable and solutions-focused, as no two days in retail are the same!
Skills and Experience
Customer Service: You don’t need to have worked in customer service before, but we are looking for a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service, building rapport and understanding customer needs.
Teamwork: Capable of collaborating with team members to achieve store goals, and maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.
Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to engage customers, actively listen to their needs, and provide relevant product information.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, handle challenging situations, and work effectively under pressure.
Problem-solving: Skill in identifying and resolving customer issues or complaints, finding appropriate solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Organisation: Aptitude for maintaining an organised store environment, managing inventory, and creating visually appealing product displays.
Nice to have, but training will be provided:
