HCSW - Elective Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Unit, Woodend Hospital
Salary, Hours, and Contract
Band 3, 18.5 hrs/week permanent post. May require working 5 of 7 days.
Key Responsibilities
* Support physiotherapy staff in carrying out daily treatments and assessments.
* Patient handling, administrative duties and communicating with family and the extended multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications and Experience
Are you an experienced health care support worker with experience of working in a therapy department or a rehab setting? Are you currently working in a ward or other care setting and looking for a new challenge? Are you motivated to develop new skills and willing to take on new roles?
Training
Training will be given to the successful candidate as required based on their previous experience.

Additional Information
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
