This newly created role is pivotal in linking financial operations with broader business strategy. The Role
As Finance Manager, you will oversee the financial operations of the business, ensuring robust financial reporting, strong internal controls, and meaningful insight to support commercial decisions. You will work closely with senior leadership, manage a small team, and act as a key business partner across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger
* Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes
* Produce accurate financial reports with insightful commentary and analysis
* Prepare budgets, forecasts, KPIs and management accounts
* Drive cash flow, working capital and cost control initiatives
* Collaborate with external auditors and ensure audit readiness
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
* Mentor junior finance team members to drive performance and development
* Provide strategic input to the Head of Finance and wider senior team
* Lead finance-related projects and support continuous improvement initiatives
About You
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent)
* Strong technical understanding of core finance processes
* Hands-on experience with management accounts and financial reporting
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* Proactive, solution-focused, and commercially aware
* Experience in a similar all-round finance role, ideally within a dynamic or fast-paced business
