Your new roleAs a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will take a leading role in delivering electrical building services designs, contributing technical expertise across a variety of live projects while supporting the development of junior engineers.In this role, you will:Lead electrical building services design across multiple concurrent projectsProduce and review electrical calculations, specifications, reports and drawingsOversee the design of lighting, LV distribution, power, fire alarms, security, data and other building systemsCoordinate closely with Mechanical Engineers, CAD/Revit technicians and external project partnersConduct site visits, condition surveys, inspections and client/contractor meetingsEnsure all designs comply with UK Building Regulations, industry standards and project requirementsProvide guidance, mentorship and technical oversight to junior and intermediate engineersContribute to project planning, technical solutions, quality assurance and client communicationProjects you will work on:Commercial office buildings and workplace redesignsIndustrial and manufacturing facilitiesEducation facilitiesHealthcare environmentsHotels, leisure and hospitality buildingsResidential and mixed-use developmentsMOD and secure-infrastructure projects requiring robust electrical engineering designThese sectors align with the consultancy's proven experience across the UK property and construction industry. Software used:You will work with industry-standard design and modelling tools, including AutoCAD, electrical design packages, and additional platforms the consultancy invests in to support high-quality engineering output.
