Rise is seeking the cream of the crop (aka the very best!) Support Workers for our East/South-East Metro community clients. The open position is permanent, part-time working Monday to Friday from 8am to 1pm with potential of additional hours offered (between 7.30am - 2pm) plus weekends. You will be required to travel to multiple client homes during each shift. Suburbs include Kalamunda, Lesmurdie, Forrestfield, High Wycombe, Wattle Grove, Kewdale, Bentley, Welshpool, East Cannington, and surrounds. Travel time & kilometres between clients will be reimbursed.
Day to day, you will follow client support plans, record/report changes, contribute to programme meetings, and assist clients with activities of their daily living whilst achieving their personalised goals. Responsibilities may also include domestic cleaning duties.
Here at Rise, we nurture potential, but we do need you to have a few tricks up your sleeve including the following:
Certificate III in individual support (Aged) or equivalent with demonstrated experience post-studies
First aid certificate (HLTAID009 and HLTAID010) or willingness to obtain
Comfortability with providing personal care and essential services
Formalities (The serious stuff!)
Appointments to this position will be subject to a national police clearance and pre-employment medical assessment. You must also hold a valid driving licence with use of a reliable vehicle for work purposes. Costs for new checks will be covered and/or reimbursed by Rise.
