Role: Finance Assistant - Part Time
Location: Elgin

Your new role
To support the Finance department by ensuring that the day-to-day finance processes are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
DUTIES:
1. Process items to the Cashbook
2. Process staff expense claims
3. Process supplier invoices and credit notes on the Purchase Ledger
4. Reconcile supplier statements
5. Raise customer invoices on the Sales Ledger
6. Complete the daily bank reconciliation
7. Maintain accounting documents, and provide general office support as required
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
8. At least 1-years’ experience working as part of an accounting/ finance team (including internshipsor entry-levely positions).
9. Strong numerical skill and attention to detail
10. A reliable team player who can also use own initiative
11. A ‘can do’ and ‘hands on’ attitude
12. Ability to work under supervision while meeting deadlines
13. An intermediate excel user, previous experience of accounting software would be advantageous but is not a necessity (COINS training will be given, if required)
14. Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task
15. Ablility and confidence to interact effectively with internal teams, suppliers and customers
