Your Role: We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to join our Food Solutions team at our Grantham Processing Plant. This newly created role will strengthen quality assurance and internal compliance across the value-add program - particularly in high-care and high-risk areas. Working closely with the QA Coordinator, you’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining product quality, ensuring GMP compliance, and driving consistency in process monitoring and documentation. Your Key Responsibilities: Monitor product specifications and quality across Food Solutions operations. Conduct daily QC checks including pre-operational inspections, temperature checks, line verifications, and packaging compliance. Perform chlorine testing, foreign object challenge testing, and destructive mince checks as required. Deliver Quality compliance training to production staff in line with QA schedules. Provide hands-on QA support during production shifts. Ensure GMP compliance, accurate documentation, and consistent adherence to processes. Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in a QA, inspection, or production quality role within food manufacturing. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams. Experience or understanding of high-care and high-risk cook/chill processes is desirable. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and GMP principles. Strong attention to detail and confidence interpreting data. Comfortable using Android or digital software applications for reporting. Beef industry experience or label review knowledge will be highly regarded. Training experience or willingness to conduct on-the-job training is desirable. Why Join Us?
