Job Description:
Stealth IT Consulting is currently supporting a major player within the digital consulting industry and is seeking SC Cleared Service Designers to join the team. This role offers the opportunity to develop and work with prestigious clients across both public and private sectors, including DWP, NHS Digital, BP, and Ikea.
The position is primarily remote, with occasional travel to London, Manchester, or Glasgow depending on the client project.
As a Service Designer, your responsibilities will include:
* Maximizing Value: Deliver maximum value to clients from initial concept through to implementation of service design.
* End-to-End Support: Guide clients through all phases of service design, from ideation to testing.
* Championing User-Centricity: Use various tools and methods to embed design thinking and user-centered approaches.
* Innovative Collaboration: Collaborate with solution teams to create forward-thinking products and services.
* Driving Service Improvements: Apply emerging trends to enhance existing services and introduce innovative experiences.
* Influencing Stakeholders: Advocate for user-focused transformation by engaging with service managers, researchers, UI/UX designers, and program directors to showcase the benefits of user-centric solutions.
Required Experience:
* Active SC Clearance is a MUST
* Proven experience in the full service design process, working independently.
* Knowledge of Government Digital Service (GDS) principles and standards.
* Expertise in creating service design deliverables such as user journeys, personas, service blueprints, and concepts.
* Understanding accessibility challenges for diverse user groups and how to address them.
* Strong facilitation skills, including leading workshops and design sprints.
* Ability to visualize complex services clearly for various audiences.
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for inquiry and analysis.
* Experience working in agile (scrum) environments with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines proactively.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, balancing diverse perspectives.
* Advocacy for user-centricity, translating stories into actionable design strategies.
