As the Energy Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for checking and processing energy bills, making sure they match contracts and usage data, handle and investigate any discrepancies and queries and provide support to both colleagues and external partners to ensure a seamless energy service. Key responsibilities for the Energy Management Coordinator:
* Receive, process, and validate invoices and credit notes from energy suppliers
* Upload energy bills and usage data into systems and perform manual checks where necessary
* Investigate and log any discrepancies, following up to resolution
* Communicate with members, suppliers, and colleagues to resolve issues efficiently
* Assist with monthly reporting and ensure all records are accurate and up to date
* Manage export energy contracts and supplier relationships, ensuring timely member payments
* Support onboarding of new energy contracts and help improve processes
Skills and Experience required for the Energy Management Coordinator:
* Previous experience in energy, utilities, or bill validation is highly desirable
* Knowledge of energy bills and ability to check them against contracts or previous data
* Skilled at analysing large data sets, confident with numbers and solving complex problems
* Proficient to advanced user of Excel
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with processes and systems
* Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships
* Well-organised and methodical, with a calm and measured approach to problem-solving
