MSK Physiotherapist – Nottingham/Hybrid Working – Up to £40,000 per annum, Permanent, Part Time 30 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Right to live & work in the UK is required.
Role Summary
The post holder must be able to cover on-site working up to two days a week from 1 pm to 9 pm across three sites for a global e‑commerce company (LE67 Leicester, DE74 Derby, NG17 Sutton-in-Ashfield), with the remainder of the week working remotely. The role requires a driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
In this role, you will use core clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and manage patients in line with NICE guidelines, HCPC standards, and CSP best practice. You will conduct initial assessments (remote and face‑to‑face), deliver evidence‑based interventions, and support individuals through self‑management and exercise‑based rehabilitation. The role also involves producing clear reports, providing advice on functional capacity and workplace adjustments, and ensuring transparency with employees. Treatment is typically short‑term with regular reviews.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, detailed, and appropriate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to employees on a remote or face‑to‑face basis.
- Identify, assess, and advise on any workplace hazards or contributing factors to musculoskeletal disorders.
- Conduct workplace assessments such as DSE or work‑based tasks as and when required and provide advice and recommendations as appropriate.
- Always maintain clinical objectivity and impartiality in line with occupational health guidance.
- Deliver effective evidence‑based rehabilitation that adheres to national clinical standards.
- Utilise a bio‑psychosocial approach combined with functional assessment to address barriers to work and inform robust work recommendations.
Experience, Skills and Knowledge Required for the Role
- Clinical Physiotherapy Qualification.
- Full Member of the CSP & Registered member of HCPC is essential.
- Post‑graduate training in occupational health/ergonomics.
- Previous experience or an interest in occupational health physiotherapy.
- Experience of providing functional assessment and fitness for work advice.
- Driver licence & access to a vehicle.
