This is a role for someone who thrives on variety. You’ll be advising on all aspects of employee relations, helping to develop initiatives that bring people together, and supporting projects that genuinely improve the workplace experience. No two days will be the same one moment you could be coaching a manager through a tricky situation, the next you could be rolling out a new engagement initiative or working on a talent development project.
This role is based in North Nottingham making it ideal for candidates living in and around Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Hucknall and the wider North Nottinghamshire area.

Responsibilities:
* Act as a trusted advisor to managers, offering clear, practical guidance across the full range of people matters
* Take ownership of employee lifecycle initiatives, from onboarding and development to wellbeing and inclusion programmes
* Champion a culture of engagement and collaboration, ensuring employees feel supported and valued
* Handle employee relations confidently, guiding managers through performance, disciplinary, and grievance processes with professionalism
* Work closely with colleagues across the people function to deliver projects that enhance the overall employee experience and drive continuous improvement
What we are looking for:
* Strong track record in an HR Advisor role, confident supporting managers and employees alike
* A natural communicator who builds trust quickly and can influence with credibility
* In-depth knowledge of employment law and a solid grasp of HR best practice
* Proactive and solutions-focused, with genuine passion for creating a positive employee experience
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week. (9.00 AM - 5.30 PM or 8.30 - 5.00 PM Flexible)
