Job Description A PA who can speak either Urdu, Mirpuri or Punjabi to assist with various activities, enabling the employer to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets their
chosen lifestyle.
Job Purpose & work Duties:
•Domestic tasks e.g. laundry, housework and meal preparation.
•Shopping
•Outdoor walking/exercise,
•Supporting with transporting to appointments
•Assisting with leisure activities
Supporting:
• Mobility, ensuring the employers safety
• Personal care
• Undertaking activities for employer
• Ensuring employers home is clean, hygienic, and safe
Other requirements:
• Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
• Assisting with management of employer’s health risks
• Establish and maintain effective communication
• Maintaining confidentiality
Location:
• Within the employer’s home and the local community of Dudley and the
surrounding area
• To provide variable cover during periods of holiday and sickness
• Rate of Pay (£12.21 per hour)
Requirements:
• Experience of providing Care is essential
• Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred
• Locally based
• Available to help at short notice is essential
• Consist
• Motivated
• Organised
• Driver is preferred
• Good sense of humour
• Patient and empathetic
• Ability to understand and deliver the requirements of the employer
• Ability to undertake domestic activities
• Flexible, reliable, and honest
• Good general fitness
• An enhanced DBS check will be required
