The Role
Reporting to a senior lawyer, you will act as a trusted advisor to individuals and families across a broad range of family matters. With 4–6 PQE, you will deliver clear, compassionate and practical advice while maintaining the highest professional and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing your own caseload across divorce, separation, cohabitation, financial settlements, children matters and related issues
* Meeting clients, providing clear guidance and maintaining excellent client care
* Drafting court documents, agreements and associated family law documentation
* Representing clients at hearings, directions appointments and mediations
* Assisting senior lawyers on complex or high-value cases
* Ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal policies
* Supporting marketing, networking and wider business‑development activity
Skills & Experience
* 4–6 years PQE in Family law (or equivalent experience) with practising rights
* Strong experience across divorce, financial remedy and children matters
* Excellent drafting, advocacy and communication skills
* Ability to manage a busy caseload and work independently
* Compassionate, calm and professional approach to sensitive matters
* Strong team ethos and a proactive, commercial mindset
