About The Role
Group Commercial Services is recruiting for a Logistics Finance Analyst on a full-time, permanent basis. Part-time applications are also welcome, as a job share will be considered. Reporting to the Logistics Planning and Analysis Manager, the role involves checking and paying all Logistics invoices, accurate forecasting and financial planning for future costs related to planning rounds, budgets, and monthly forecasts, as well as supporting the Group Vehicle Operations team with administrative tasks.
What you could be doing:
1. Responsible for paying bills of £150m annually and creating processes to ensure the accuracy of all supplier invoices, preventing over or under payments.
2. Supporting reporting and transparency of supplier costings.
3. Assisting the Logistics Planning and Analysis Manager in creating, modifying, and maintaining Logistics reports for senior management.
4. Owning daily logistics reports and financial logs, including invoice errors, total spend by supplier, and annual maintenance spend.
5. Ensuring the timely submission of logistics accruals and managing the logistics payment process, including raising all POs to ensure coverage and compliance with purchasing policies.
6. Overseeing Fuel Card and Travel System administration, reporting, and general administrative tasks to support GVO/GCS.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Highly numerate with meticulous attention to detail.
* Resilient, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Proactive in problem-solving and process improvement.
* Strong customer and commercial focus.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* Good knowledge of SAP R/3; familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is advantageous.
