Offer description

Responsibilities

:

1. Handle key pension administration tasks including new entrants, leavers, retirements, transfers, and deaths.
2. Maintain and update pension databases and systems accurately.
3. Respond to internal and external queries, including those from DWP and HMRC.
4. Perform both automated and manual pension benefit calculations.
5. Draft and issue customer correspondence using the Electronic Document Management system (EDM).
6. Support non-financial updates ( address changes) and assist with checking work as experience grows.
7. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver aprehensive client service.
8. Accurately log time and meet utilisation targets using the Virtual Office system.

Your Profile:

9. Some office-based experience, ideally within financial services or pensions, is preferred but not essential.
10. Basic awareness or understanding of the pensions industry is beneficial.
11. Strong numerical aptitude, demonstrated through academic or work experience.
12. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Essential:

13. Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
14. High attention to detail and accuracy in both written and numerical tasks.
15. Strongmunication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
16. Positive, flexible, and proactive approach to learning and work responsibilities.
17. Able to follow procedures, take ownership of tasks, and work effectively in a team.

Qualifications:

18. Educated to A-Level, Degree, or equivalent standard.
19. GCSEs in Maths and English (minimum grade B or equivalent).
20. Willingness to study for a relevant pensions qualification ( CPC, DPC, RPC, APMI).

Desirable:

21. Demonstrates amitment to a career in pensions administration and continuous improvement.
