You will need to be a flexible and team player to undertake the role of Rota Co-ordinator. This post supports the management, co-ordination and implementation of medical rosters for all grades of Junior Doctors, ensuring compliance with both New Deal and the European Working Time Directive (EWTD). The postholder will also play a key role in the implementation of electronic rostering, ensuring all national and local policies are adhered to. You should enjoy working in a fast paced and challenging environment, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, accurate IT skills and the aptitude to organise and prioritise workloads. The ability to work as part of a team and to communicate confidently with clinical staff is fundamental to this post. Applicants should possess a good understanding of rostering either through being involved in roster production or e-rostering systems.
